Safe engine mode and code P0606

I have 15,000 miles and have been driving "Legend" all winter even at -40degree F.
On Monday I was cruzin into work at 70 MPH and ...What the ? The engine hesitated and went into "Safe Engine Mode" (on the display) The RPM s were limited to around 3000. It still had good speed but no Get up and go. The dealer said the code was P0606 and Ford enginering had them clear the code and it was "under investigaton" No problems the rest of the week. (400 miles)

I've not experienced this issue myself, but according to ODBII, P0606 indicates a PCM Processor Fault.
