S197 in Fast and Furious 4

Since this seems to be a common comment I might as well clarify as to why the cars are done this way. All of you are looking at this like it was your personal daily driver, well thats not what these cars are for. From the owners standpoint who also makes body kits and hoods (some extreme some not), getting this car noticed helps business. Whether it be from car shows, the internet, magazines, or movies; so going extreme on everything from body and paint to audio, interior and power (which this car has everything) is whats going to get it noticed and thus more business. From the body shops standpoint, same thing, more people that notice the more business they will get. Of course not everyone is going to come to the shop and ask for a 15K+paint job, but some are (those that dump 10s of thousands into a show car) and the rest are just going to get simple basic stuff done. What is shown off by doing a car like this is the capability of being able to do whatever it is the customer wants, if they can do this with such high skill then just think how simple it would be to make your daily driver look good with a simple single color paint job.

you know...use good taste and thought...
not just throw on whatever sponsored part they can get their hands on?
you know, something classy, with well thought out design and style.
not just heaps and heaps of crap.
whatever that's my "hate"

majority of people just like to complain about things, I dont get it but you will find it everywhere and on every site. I think everyone is entitled to their opinion but more often then not it seems people just like to hate on things or others that is not their own or have it better than them. So what if people dont like the overall design of the car? thats not why I posted it; I did it to show off the awesome work that is undeniably done to these cars, whether you like the scheme or not, excellent work has been done.

idk....I don't think the word hater is appropriate here. Do I think the person that painted it is very talanted? Sure!
But everyone is entitled to an opinion. I just do not happen to like it.
As far as getting a normal car fixed. The best thing a body shop can show me is a car with perfect body work block sanded to perfection, even metallic, and a nicely applied and buffed clear without too much orange peel. All that art gets in the way of being to judge the above.
Now, if I wanted a mural painted on my car, artwork like that does mean something.

what the heck.
wouldnt there be a conflict of interests if there was a ghost rider tribute car in a fast and furious movie?

You are correct. They actually did build a fully functional Nissan powered stang...but it took a month to do instead of the movie situation only taking one night...

yeah I saw the car sitting on the lot, it had a functioning skyline motor in it along with the rest of the riced out crap they stuck on it, including the fart can exhaust, it did take forever for them to get that weak **** motor to do what they wanted in that car, but what also took them forever to shoot was trying to get the 350Z that DK was driving in that scene to make the big turn without driving off the road, come to think of it I think they must have given up because I dont recall seeing those shots in the movie.
