Well looking at the McQueen lookalike in that new commercial that will be coming out, you never know. I wouldn't mind a Bullitt, but I think they should bring back the Boss, and maybe even the Grabber colors along with it.

grabber blue is the greatest color for a stang imo
I honestly don't expect to see many Ford factory SE variants until:
1. Sales and interest in the GT begins to wane, or
2. GM produces some competition in the price range (i.e. 2007 Camaro
etc. etc.), or
3. Dodge produces a something like a Charger.
I'd like to be wrong, but why would Ford bother producing Mach 1s, Bosses, or the like, if the GT sells as fast as they can make 'em and nobody is challenging the market share? Ford made Mach 1s because interest in the 'stang was sinking.
My guess, sales of the 05 'stang will be strong for at least a year, and then start to wane. That's when you'll see SE models and then I suspect a "cosmetic SE" will appear, followed in 6 to 12 months by a power package SE--all about the time GM is supposed to introduce a new camaro.

[QUOTE]Originally, the Mach was to become part of the lineup. You have no idea how much I'd love that.
You really think i don't......
I don't think that Ford would be putting out SE's just for the fact that interest is running down on the regular GT'S, i think it has something to do with keeping those nameplates alive and attracting car buyers that wouldn't be interested in a GT but in a more performance-oriented vehicle like a SE....

A Bullitt is almost certainly in the future, I think the original Bullitt SE was the first project that J Mays worked on when he went to FoMoCo...
A cool name to go with (if they decide to drop Bullitt) would be Mustang Interceptor or something like that (It could be the police package in DHG
)
