Apologies to those with a slower connection---

Took the Stang down from Naperville to Braidwood, and took some pics at Route 66 Speedway. Really got the feel for the tranny today, and had some fun taking some fast corners and pulling away from stop lights

Let me just also add a comment about Packey Webb Ford in Wheaton. The guys and gals there really gave me a good experience. I wasn't able to pick up the car right away, and they put it in the shop so that no bypassers would request a look or a test drive. Also took my Z-plan order back when other dealers wouldn't. If you haven't gotten am '05 or ordered one, check 'em out... B)

To those interested in the Sonic Blue/ Parchment/ IUP combo... it is simply awesome, the car looks sporty and classy at the same time...everyone I've talked to can't get over how good it all looks together

I'm looking to get some Le Mans stripes, but it might be awhile...and well, the performance stuff will go on once the warranty is up.

I also have a larger pic of this for wallpaper if anyone wants

Beautiful car, Frank. Nice pics although as you said, they were a little large and for some reason, on my computer they looked a tad bit fuzzy.

Anyhow, congratulations!

Yeah, my scanner is old and crappy
and I took 'em with a disposable camera instead of my Pentax...

Ya can really tell on the last one...not enough contrast

The car was awesome! I opened it up along some back roads, and I got politely pushed back into my seat
I only redlined it a few times, but it feels great just shifting around 3k rpm and hearing the motor rumble.
It also sounds foreboding in first...a great way to get out the stress

Very sweet looking stang Just under a month till mine comes in, but I love seeing the sonic blue ones. That parchment interior does that car some justice too.
