Roush front end

Before I ask the car dealer can thay put a Roush Front Fascia Kit on a GT 2007 that I order from the factory? I am not ordering a roush mustang. Just a 300\V8 GT CONV.

I dont want to have to order it seperatly then have to have it painted and installed by someone else.

I would order it in pre-painted. From what I understand, its not rocket science to replace the facia, only takes a few tools and not that many bolts, especially for a very well engineered part like the roush one. Very expensive piece though

I was trying to get everything in one invoice from the dealer. Along with a hood scoop.

I am in the same boat as you, considering a 2008 Mustang GT and wanting the Roush front end. I will see how GOOD of a deal they can really make, but I totally agree, all in one Car payment. If not, then might have to get it shipped to the house and spend the afternoon in the Garage.

What else are you looking at doing to it? I think a Roush Front end, GT/CS Rear-end, and Shelby Spoiler would look great.

Trying to find those GT500 Red insert seats too, they are REALLY Pricey, I was quoted almost $2K for front and rear.

I have an 07 GT and ordered the Roush front facia kit complete and prepainted from Stage3motorsports and it was perfect. Install wasnt bad at all. This is a mod you can do yourself.

A dealer can add monies into the loan for aftermarket accessories. Kinda stupid to do it that way though. If its a Roush dealer they can order the part and install it in the purchase. Then you can be a 6 light mustang

If you want to save several hundred dollars, check out post #7: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=47836
$500 shipped plus $150-$200 for your local body shop to paint it comes to $700.
Compared to $990 plus over $100 for shipping (it's oversized) comes to more than $1100.

Well I have a ford\roush dealer about 45 min from me. I could go price the car with all the options I want then do some homework on buying the parts afterwards and see what the price differance will be. I dont have much free time to mess with it as well. I can see buying it seperate and then getting it painted but like boltzman says the wiring could be a pain (or is). I dont want to buy it then have to work on it right off the bat. I guess I could sell the stock front end on Ebay and get some of my money back maybe.

Actually it was very easy... dont know why you had trouble. Just feed the wires in a preexhising hole and make a hold in the dash for the switch.

Doesnt work that way. You cant have the GT fog lights on and the Roush lights on at the same time, its not wired that way and its illegal in most states I believe to have 6 lights on at the same time. The wiring harness comes with the car... its easy to hook up and idiot proof. no worries

I never gave that much thought about being legal or not. But I would still like to have the option of turning all 6 on thou. Sometimes you just cant see like back on the country roads I would like to see whats crossing the road. But this is getting off of my main question. But I will talk to the Ford\Roush dealer. I asked in another post what was the latest time to order a 2007 and some people said May11 others said june25. So I guess I will have to call about this as well. I might just have to order an 08. And hope ford dont change anything on the front end or I will have to wait even longer to get a Roush front end for an 08.
