This might be the leading edge of reclaiming our passion from the FWD hordes. They never had enough to get into trouble and we have been here more or less since birth. (sort of) If that is what it takes to end the farting so be it if I have to deal with a few less stupids trying to take a poke at my Stang because it isn't NEON then we are advancing society through Evolution. End of sermon and for crying out loud elect a President! Sorry but I spend a lot of time in the U.S. and it is important.

Traction control off to hear the tires squeal...the roads are wet and slick...Darwin indeed.

So how does the Mustang GT handle in the rain? I mean with the traction control on?

Have you new owners had any problems yet with the rear coming unglued in the rain?

I think it is so funny when someone squeals their wheels on wet roads, and then think they are cool.

I dont know, when I was driving a GT in the rain last week I drove it like a 300hp rwd car on a rainy day. Seemed ok to me though, never kicked in TC and the tires are much better then the old Goodyear stinkers.

Well, if I was the GM at the dealership, the clown would have been fired on the spot and I would have kept his last paycheck to help offset the cost reduction the car will have to absorb due to being damaged.

The idiot has no respect for other people's property, is NOT a safe driver, and deserves whatever gets thrown at him. The fact that he pulled out into the path of another driver, not seeing him at all, risked not only his own skin but that of the other driver.

:bang: :bang: :bang:

In my view, he is getting off WAY too light unless he loses his job.

I've been driving in the rain for the last couple of days. My poor stang is all dirty now. I haven't pushed the limits on handling in the rain, but I took a guy at my gym for a ride while it was raining. I laid into it pretty good to show it off of course. I ran it up to about 70 on a city street and shifted each gear by about 4500. I thought it gripped pretty well and it was easy to back off just enough when it started slipping.

I live on a very winding country road and have not had problems driving in the rain. I don't push it as hard there since there are gullys on the side of the road. The other day I startled myself a bit when I came up pretty fast on stop sign where the road "T"s. It was raining and there was some mud in the road covered up by wet leaves. It was pretty greasy and my ABS was pulsing along with my chest. Got it stopped though.

I think that everybody that picked up their car, did it in the rain. Seemed to be a countrywide rain shower when the cars were delivered.
