Rim repair on my 05

I have one slightly bent rim and another with a scratched lip after a minor accident. Has anyone had exprience in getting their rims repaired? A new rim would cost me $230ish while repair would be from $95 to $125. I'm trying to figure out if repairing the rim is worth the savings.

I have had rims repaired twice. Once on my Tahoe when my wife got t-boned in an intersection and the second time is when a local tire place scratched all 4 of my bullit rims on my current GT. I was amazed how well they turned out after being fixed. The tahoe rims had chunks taken out of them and the place fixed them. My bullits were just scratched and they fixed them as well. I couldn't tell they had been fixed. I would swear they were brand new wheels. Based on my experience I would say repairing them would be better. The place I used in Oklahoma City was great and I know they do work for people all over the country. PM me if you want any info on them. Sounds like you already found a local place near you. Good luck.

BP, theres a place in millersville that does pretty good work. A girl I know scaped up the bullets on her 06 convertible and you could never tell. I'll try and get the name and post it.

What kind of accident did you get in? I cracked two of my rims and got them replaced for free because of the wheel insurance I bought.

I hit a curb pretty hard while I was sliding sideways. At least you don't have to replace your rear end like I did.

It does but I've already had two other accidents in the last year and a half. One was my fault the other was a deer. I don't want my insurance to go through the roof. Three years ago I totalled a brand new car. It's just cheaper for me to pay this one out of pocket.
