Very cool. Interesting to see that the emergency brake and gear shift indicator did not move.

I wonder if the gear release and the o/d buttons are switched.

that's bizarre looking! i do like the chrome accent plate covering the center of the console (around the shifter back past the cup holders) where can that be found?

Looks like they aren't. Also, the hand brake handle is still on the left side of the console.

Thanks Guys , Mustang Australia arranged the Mirror conversion and extras,The hand brake , bonnet release and gear indicator are about the only things that remained on the left.
These Tungsten Grey 2007 GTs are about as rare as rocking horse doo doo down under so i feel very honoured indeed.
Will post more pics as i go.

John Pony.

Congrats on the new ride! I wish the export tails for the S197 looked like the SN95 versions, with the two small amber sections down low.

Where did you get the Stripes that included the Scoop or are the Stripes painted on?
I havent been able to find a Good Stripe set that covered the Factory Hood with Scoop.

Wow, that is interesting to see. It's a good thing I don't live down under (or in the UK) - I don't think I could ever drive from that side. Especially being left handed - I can't steer worth sh*t with my right hand...and shifting with the left would be ....well, backwards for me.

I drove a friend's RHD Morris Minicooper and a 1970 JDM 240Z or should I say Fairlady Z (incredible car with the JDM nose, headlight covers, fender flares, and fender mirrors). I loved it! You get used to shifting pretty quickly. From what I understand, those down-under Stangs are not exactly cheap

Are the sideview mirrors different?

Is it me or is the side mirrors different than standard Mustang fare?

Congrats. I thought it was the coolest thing ever seeing an old school stang in Sydney when I was there in December 1999. Great color choice and you're right that will be a rare one over there.

Beautiful car man. I love it

I read an article a while back about prices for Mustangs in Australia. I don't remember the exact figure but if I recall it was like 80k for a Mustang GT or something like that.

Is it still that high?
