Greg-

Based on a note that was sent to Francisco Codina, I understand that you have a Mustang GT order with a New Jersey Dealership. While the Mustang GT demand is great, I am sorry to hear about the delay that you are experiencing, and would like to look into it further.

So that I may investigate, please reply to this email with the name of the dealership and any individuals who you have dealt with at that dealership. As soon as I have your information, I will find out more and follow up with you.

Thanks,

District Manager

Oh lord, this man does not know the can of worms he just opened. He’s going to get 500 emails a day asking for status.

I also wrote to Mr Codina and a 5 days later, my dealer was calling me to tell me that my ordered was being pulled that week. The dealer called today to let me know that it is bucked. If you have been waiting a long time (3 months or better), it would be worth your time to send him an e-mail. For the ones that have only been waiting a month, please don't ruin it for the ones that have truely had a long wait. Thanks for your cooperation. :worship: :worship: :worship:

Still c/u. :bang: We have sorta been in contact with the regional rep. Our dealer talked to the region rep and relayed to us. I dont know how to contact them myself or I would. I sent an email to Ford Customer Concerns Dept this morning. I have yet to hear anything.

Ideas anyone?

i agree and I'll wait 3 months before I contact him. He is more likely to do something about it that way anyhow.

I've been waiting since 9/27/04 and have yet to receive any hard evidence that my car is being built (DORA and VIN). I emailed codina and it said the message failed to be delivered. I don't know... I've waited long enough IMO and I want my darn car.

Well sent my letter off to Mr. Codina. Regional rep called today while I was at work and left a # where he could be reached with my wife. I called it three times since I got home and NOTHING!

Ford - Qulity Job 1

Ford customer care - job none!

Over 15 weeks for a V6 coupe, rediculous!!!!!!!!!!

I don't blame you. You have more patience than me. I think If I had to wait that long. I'd be puching different zip codes in to find a dealer that had a car with the options I wanted. If I had to drive a 1000 miles than so be it.

I'll wait another month or so of being C/U before trying to contact regional rep. Like it was said before, I don't want to ruin it for those orders ahead of me. I'll wait my turn, but this is good info.

You are so right. I actually gonna feel sorry for the guy. Please note he is New York region. Not sure how much help he will be for requests out of his jurisdiction (sp?).

Guys please don't bombard him. He can only do so much and I am sure he has a full plate of responsibilities and requests regarding the Mustang already. :worship:

Look at it this way also he may get in trouble with his superiors or be forced to change his e-mail address to stop the flood.

Greg,

What dealer did you go to? I am getting mine from Village in Ridgewood. I ordered mine before you and I just got my Vin last week. Be patient, unless whereever you ordered from used up their allocations.

After reading that a few people have had some luck with this approach, I emailed this gentleman too. I ordered 12/7/2004 and I'm still C/U. I know it's an allocation problem, and that's what I addressed in the email. Time will tell if it helps! Wish me luck

well guys im not 1 bit sorry for contacting him and i wasnt waiting i wanted some closure. he took it upon himself to get my info and investigate for me. im in a tight spot as we all r because the orders r soooo backed up right now. there r people WHO ORDERED IN FEBRUARY AND GETTING CARS PEOPLE!! this, no matter what the circumstances, is wrong. i dont know who to blame i wont blame anyone. if its the dealer, then so be it. if its ford, so be it. but heres the thing. i emailed him and he responded. he put me at ease. hopefully something happens. ive been waiting long enough to order this car. i waited long and orderd january now 2 months later stuck with nothing. people who have waited 3 months should be taking action. im sure u have and if u havent do it. good luck to everyone

hey steve. i ordered my car from Pistilli Ford in Paramus on rt 17. im 1st in line to get pulled but ive been that for like the 6 weeks. anyways my dealer has done nothing to **** me off exept for one thing, today. i was on the phone with the general sales manager and i asked him a question. he put me on hold and then hung up after like 5 minutes of waiting. i was very upset. now i am contacting the the general manager on monday and im going to be a bit firm. but steve, pistilli ford otherwise has been awesome to me. i was in contact with village ford but i ended up goin elsewhere
