Note: the production GlassBack is not anything like the concept, which of course is expected... however, its so different, I am not sure its worth the almost 2k they are going to be charging for it. Its one option I have been totally anticipating, have the money all ready to go and buy it. Saw it at SEMA and couldnt believe my eyes. Its basically a large moonroof now. blech

I would love a glassback like the concept, or even the ones Saleen is using. I too am in the crowd that wants the rest of the center column lights to change with the MyColor, and how about we make the MyColor changes stay put? I am not real jazzed about the white driving dash. More interior color options, and fine tune it. ICAP should be available in all colors, and two different styles, solid seats, and seats with ICAP inserts. I decided I am not going wait for it, I am just going to get someone to do it custom for me

Hey - that targa is NICE! I'd be a little uneasy about cutting through the roof unless I knew the cutters were a high quality outfit. Who did that one?

Oh -and hips, more HP, lighter, wider tires/wheels, meaner front end, etc.

From: DMV
200 lbs less weight (at least)
6 speed
SMG/DSG type option
IRS option (at least put more AL and CF into the buggy axle)
HID option
Recaro seat option
More readable instruments
Bit more modern interpretation of classic Mustang design (perhaps replace "side scoop" with hips ala '69-'70)
Subtle rear "ducktail" in the metal (no cheesy tack on)
Better front aerodynamics.
Sun roof option
Cleaner rocker panel area
Better interior materials
Sirius/XM option
Nav option
HP is ok, gain better straight line performance through less weight and thus also reap the benefits in handling, braking and economy too.
That said, maybe a 4.6 4V and/or 5.4 option

These are the threads I spent hours reading and contributing to WAY BEFORE we had our cars......

...... To talk about this after the first model year is insane

hips, gt-r headlight covers, concept sequential taillights, maybe t-tops?
IRS, a 4.6 (or 5.0 ) LX, real hatchback, ducktail, ...

... what am I saying, I'd just like to have one. :P

lol, this is gonna get some groans...
Maybe some of you don't like the way this looks, but i still think the concept could work, and could do good things for the rest of the ford lineup by associating the other less exciting cars like the fusion and the 500 and the edge with an exciting car like the mustang.

Lets pop that family face on the mustang at the next redesign, then people'll look at the 500 (when it finally gets the 3 bar grill) and think, hey that's a big sedan with mustang blood in it. I'm gonna buy it and help stop ford from going under....

Maybe some hips, those angled in headlights like on the concept, GTR, GT500... Sunroof is definitely a must. Maybe touch up the rear a bit, make it less chunky if they can.

The targa is by JMS. I would be a little concerned about buffeting and fit/finish/leaking, but it looks pretty cool.

Not trying to bash you but I personally think that the "corporate grille" is the downfall of any company that uses it. No one wants a mustang that looks like a family grocery getter. I do agree that it might attract some buyers to the more mundane cars and keep ford in business, but I think it will ruin the mustnag image.
