I agree with a weight cap (perhaps 3000), so we don't get a bloated Mustang like the '71. Even the '05 is a bit too heavy. Hard to do, though, when folks want A/C and power everything, as well as government mandates like air bags. Other than that, I think the stylists hit a home run with the '05+ Mustang. While I encourage them to do better, I doubt they'll be able to improve on this design anytime soon. Prove me wrong!

Actually, the first linked thread is exactly the same.

I believe some feel compelled to step on others because some do not feel compelled to use the search button.

I would like to see a meaner front end on the Mustang GT, and (of course) a HP increase - 350-400hp.
5.4L and 6 speed would be great too!

If ANYTHING..maybe an option.
300hp GT while most on this site agree (but we're a drop in the bucket) its not enough... but to most ACTUAL people...its a pretty kickin ride.

BUT that increases cost.

Evolution of the same design with some added goodies...and to keep up with the competition.

I like the idea of these 'packages' that can be bought...but we have yet to see if they will be warrantied with the original.
Kinda like what GM is doing with the Cobalt kits, and SRT with the Neon Stage kits etc.

More people would mod if they could know that it would be warrantied

Id like to see a fastback design with a more predominant bulge on the upper rear fender. Might photoshop it to see what it might look like.

They should have another ICAP option but instead having black and red leather together.

Painted rocker panels on the V6.

Hood scoop options

Different grill options

we need alittle more options definitely....how cool would it be like the mycolor if u can change the color on ur radio...like that green color to something else. id love that. but besides that im thinking like since the interior is amazing i think we need more options for appearence like some said, hood scoops (personally im not a fan of) grille options, exhaust options. but if they redesign i think they need to take into consideration the concept tail lights in to one of the SE's

Im with you on the "Make it more like a 69 fastback"
I'd Like to Second the Sunroof option
DEFINETLY A WEIGHT CAP on the V6 & GT, I like that idea as well.

I'd also like to see (and this wont happen i know) is a slight increase in displacement. I dont know... say instead of 4.6 liters, why dont we make it 5.0 again?

hips a six speed and 5.4 3 or 4 valve. Lighter weight. Now if you want to go crazy AWD I know its a mustang and it weighs a lot but if you could imagine it weighing the same it would be sweet and darn fast, imagine no traction problems even with a 5.4 and a twin screw blower.

I second that all aluminum 3v 5.4! and screw the 87 octane tune, I want that extra 15 to 20hp, detonation be damned, especially if GM is considering the return of the camaro!

3500 to 3600 lbs f-bod with probably 400/400 on power and torque.

then there is the challenger from DCX (pun not intended), can you say hemi!

and nothing about the Shelby taking care of these, cause Im sure in the former, the LS2 will be the equivalent of the 3v 4.6 in GT, in short the base V8 motor.

Other than a 370 to 400 hp motor, I'd like to see the new car on Jenny Craig
