Question Recaro/corbaeu seats

I have tried searching all the forums for this answer. ( have not gotten an actual answer yet from anyone) Is there anyone here who has changed their seats in 2005-2009 GT to either a Recaro or Corbeau racing seat? Please don't give me any links to the websites. They don't help. Anyone who has done this who can give some insights and maybe some pictures? I need to know how to best install them, make the seatbelt chime and the Airbag sensors work. Again, please someone who has actually done this swap in our cars with actual results.

The airbag is gonna be the hardest part. The seat belt will work as normal. If you want to use a harness setup, just go buy the end piece of the seat belt and buckle it. Car doesn't know it's not part of the actual belt.

I've install some Corbeau seats last year. I kept the stock seat belts for normal driving and installed some harnesses for when I race. Seat belt chimes still work, of coarse I lost my heated seats and I didn't have side air bags.

those look really cool, I don't have side airbags either, how about the passenger air bag light? Did you swap the bladder in the passenger seat?

How is the height on the Corbeau seats, since I assume there is no height adjustment ?

The Corbeau is a few inches lower. I'm 5'9" and I liked it a lot better.

Thanks ... I'm thinking about getting a set, but I'm not sure if I want to loose the adjustments. But, I really like how they look

I like them too, love to get a set. Just wish it was that easy since I have the side airbags.

So what did you do with the passenger side dash airbag and the weight sensors in that seat?
