Rearview Mirror Installation
I've installed the Genex rearview mirror with Homelink, Compass, and Outside Temperature, but I haven't been able to figure out how to run the temperature sensor outside. The manual suggests running the sensor wire up to the front of the car and offers no details on installing it in a 05 Mustang. Any suggestions?
There's an access hole on the firewall where your passengers right toes would be. To get to it, you need to take off your right front wheel, and remove the rear fender liner. Don't worry, taking off the fender liner is easier than removing the wheel. It's held in w/ 4 plastic phillips head screws. Easy. Then you'll see the access plug in my pic, punch a hole in and run your wire through. You can see the wire I ran in the pic. Good luck, hope that helps.
You are the man, 05GT-O.C.D.!! I saw that hole on the inside, but haven't taken the time to crawl underneath and investigate. I figured that I'd post before wasting the time to find it. Thanks again!
On a side note, which DuckTail are you waiting for? I'm waiting on the SSE one and have been told that they'll finally ship next week.

I'm not waiting, got the CDC Ducktail. If you're lookng at my sig, I'm finishing up my stereo, not the DT.
Pics are in Exterior Mods on a thread titled "I've got the best rear end" I believe it's on page 2.

Ahh... I've seen that thread. VERY NICE!! I didn't want to lose the third brake light, so the SSE is pretty close to the CDC, but with a hole in it. Next is the vert light bar whenever CDC starts selling them.
