Rear Suspension Squeak

Over the past 3 weeks what was a barely noticeable squeak has turned into an embarrassing loud squeak. It is definitely on the driver's side rear and it squeaks when anyone sites in the driver's seat.

I recently drove through a rain storm and it really quieted down (only while the car was wet) so I'm wondering if it's like an LCA bushing that went bad.

The car has 77K miles on it and has a completely stock suspension.

Anyone else had this experience?

Had similiar problem with another car. Only way I tracked it down was to get under the car while my son bounced it.

Lower control arm bushings would be my guess.....did you look at them?

Wife's drving the car today but will check tonigh or tomorrow.

If it's the LCA bushings that seems like a fairly easy fix.

Sounds like it's coming from the front of the driver's side LCA.

Here's a question:

I'm considering swapping out the stock LCA for new J&M's as they seem reasonably priced. Since I'm in an apartment right now I will probably need to have someone do it for me. How long should it take and what would be a reasonable price for install?

Also anyone have any trouble with the J&Ms?

If it's a shop with a lift, the install should take about 30 mins.
