Anyone else notice these under your hood?

I'm thinking about painting mine white or silver.

If you have ever removed the hood insulation, you will also notice that there is a perfectly marked out spot to cut out for a shaker too.

You can see the area for the shaker without even removing the hood liner.

Why would you paint them and draw someone' eye to the ugly hood insulation than the beautiful V8 engine?

I wonder if CDC took this outline into account when building their shaker? That might make things easier when it comes to cutting the hood.
