Nice ride. Great find. Just after I bought my car I found an Alloy gray GT as well as a demo at the time for a steal. That color was my first choice too. Oh well. Enjoy

Oh...that explains it. Yeah. I thought about painting them already. I considered a shaker... Would rather have a functioning scoop.

you would need to replace your hood or have the holes left from your stock hood scoop filled in by a body shop.

from cdc website:
PLEASE NOTE: SHAKER TRIM RING DOES NOT COVER THE FACTORY HOOD SCOOP HOLES (07+ FACTORY HOOD SCOOPS) that are left after the factory hood scoops are removed. Please see the Retro '69 Design hood as an alternative replacement hood.)
