Re-Joined the S197 Group with an '07
Just picked up an '07 GT Premium with 5,000 miles on it. Darn thing is like new. Only thing I noticed is the driver's seat has a little lump near the top like a spring or maybe something with the airbag(?) sticking out a little. I claybar'd it and waxed it today. Wife took the camera from me so I don't have any good pictures, but I was able to snap these before she ran with it today.
I found it on ebay from Texas Auto Direct. The car arrived from Texas to East TN just a couple of days after I FedEx'd the money.
Some folks on here might remember that I had an '06 Redfire GT that was totaled just over a year ago. I tried a '99 Cobra convert for a year and decided I wanted something else, so I sold it and stumbled on this.

Well, I already changed out the wheel center caps (gift from a friend that I pulled off my wrecked car) and purchased a Pioneer Avic series head unit for it. hahahhaha.... I am sure those aren't the mods you were thinking though.
I'll have to wait and see how the automatic works out as I have always owned sticks. I did choose the auto this time though. Long-term might be a supercharger with fairly low boost. I still have a Xcal2 from Bama, so I might throw a tune on there for now. I could see springs, sway bars, and gears as a possibility in the near future. Brakes and steering are a little numb, and I would like to correct that. My 2006 was the same way, but I got used to it. Had Steeda Ultralites, Tokico Dspecs, UCA and LCAs but never changed out the sway bars.
This will pretty much be my daily. I still have my truck and will drive that in bad weather, until I sell it (if that happens).
I'll have to do some searches and get caught up again. I was looking some last night and some of the 2005-2009 mod hyperlinks took me to the 2010 sections. That was confusing.

ooo. a stock mustang. the endless possibilities.
on the subject of mods, might i suggest the tci ratchet shifter? i got one and while it isn't the same as a manual, it is a lot of fun.

it is very sturdy. i didn't care for the stock handle though, so i switched out to a hurst t-handle.
you can shift manually when you want to, or just leave it in auto.

If you're ever in the Pacific NW, let me know and we'll take a spin. It is priceless to line up at the local dragstrips against unsuspecting Corvette owners (I've beat a a couple of Z06's, and a bunch of standard 'Vettes) and they always worry that a V6 Mustang just beat them (then I lift the hood for them to see a supercharged V8 so they can feel better about losing to me).

Congrats on the new Stang!!
I thought my 07 had low mileage as I just broke 7K this summer. That car is like new! First mod should be wheels and or SHR louvers

Hey Doogie, I will wait awhile before replacing the wheels. I need to use some of the tread on those tires first. 7,000 miles...wow. How many times have you changed the oil??? I am really curious. I wondered how many times mine was changed. I did it right after I got it in my garage.
I took some pics tonight, finally. Here are a couple of shots.

hey, me too. i think i got like 7,200 miles on mine. mine is a weekend toy as well.
ttbit, i think if the stock 17s were the darker silver bullitts like 05-06, i would have kept them a lot longer also. i was bummed to see that they changed to a brighter silver for 07... although, the pony center caps you have help a lot with the looks... ooo, maybe you can paint the spoke section alloy as well... or black. that would look good. the mod bug is biting me and it isn't even my car. lol.
