Rant ON
Does anyone here believe in ********?
We were at Swanson Fahrney Ford tonight, looking at a 2006 Black Mustang GT Coupe. It was great, really, and only 28k at 0%. Then the credit report came to us.
I will not give out any specific numbers, but, it was 50 points lower than what we were quoted just last week. Why am I ranting here? well, /story on
To put it simply, the guy in charge of Financing at SFF is a huge ***. The first time we were there looking at the 2005 Mustang GTs, my aunt expressed interest in buying them, and, quite plainly, he said to her
"Shouldnt you look at something more accustomed to your age?"
Those of you who may think this was a joke, I can garuntee it wasnt. There was a definate maliciousness in his voice.
So, tonight, we got looking at trucks, spot the coupe, find out it's a 2006, we go for it. We have one of our usual salesfriends (The staff at this place is the ****ing best) And, well, they take the forms to him, and, it comes back, as stated, 50 points below our actual score.
If she had opted for the freestyle which he deemed suitable for her age group she would be driving it now instead of the black gt.

go on line and apply (i did) , then print it out and bring it into the dealer. i couldnt bear to have them run it there and wonder. also every time your report is run it will bring the score down i was told by a mortgage broker. good luck
The score won't make a difference with the 0% financing. Ford Credit is offering it to all credit levels. The only difference is that the higher levels may require $$$ down to get it approved.
You always have to be careful when you have your credit run. Only do it when the deal is done, and you are ready to purchase. People have really hurt themselves by allowing dealers to run their credit. The dealer is usally tring to find out if you are worth their time.
