What lesson did you learn? You weren't street racing.

Unless the cop signals you to pull over or comes behind you with the lights on...what reason do you have to be pulled over? Since he never signaled at you, I don't see how you were in the wrong.

yeah thats what I told Rick, and he wouldnt be able to prove that the vette was racing either, but it sounds like he did get clocked, Rick you originally left that detail out, at first I thought maybe the cop clocked the Cobra and decided to try to nab the two of you, but since he didnt signal to you to pull over your in the clear. But count yourself lucky none the less.

well, the vette and I were having a speed contest. It could a 10mph speed contest...and you're still guilty. I have on my record for a misdeamor of speed contest at 40mph.

so it is possible. And the way the cop pulled right behind me with his lights on....paused for a second...and went arround me and pulled in front of me VERY close....he kind of sort of could have given the impression he wanted me to stop.

I dunno...I felt guilty...so maybe I am. But I didn't get a ticket, so I am happy. But I learned my lesson...to not even play arround. I should have known better, given my last ticket of speed contest.

Maybe the cop was a Ford fan, and a chevy hater...I dunno....
What was the speed limit and how fast were you going?

Or maybe he memorized your plates so he could add on evading and just laughed about it with the Corvette owner.

45 and we were doing arround that. But it I bet anything that the vette for a citation for speed contest, unless the cop was in a good mood.
How could he get a ticket for a speed contest if the cop had no evidence.

What can I say to that? I was only kidding anyway but I didn’t even think of that, so even if there was a chance you're fine.

 yeah....I learned my lesson. My heart didn't stop pounding all day.
Dude, that IS some scary stuff. I've been through that before (...or more, don't look at me like that) I was at the Woodward Dream Cruise last year and 2 black stangs (in front of me, 99+) a red 98 on the side of them, me and this turqoise 93 cobra(behind them) were all at this stop light. Mind you all of our cars had girls in them--autmatic showoff time. So the stangs in the front are talkin across the lanes with the girls screamin and stuff. Me and the cobra just look at each other and laugh. Not knowing 2 cops are on the other side behind a small coffee shop watching us... so the 3 stangs up front hit it and then me and the cobra hit it. Next thing we know two birmingham cops cut across the michigan turn around and are right behind us...well me, then one of them comes around and passes me (yes!), but theres is still one behind me. I'm sweatin bullits and bout to have a heart attack and I'm only 20 Finally, the cop floors it and goes around me and gets the 2nd black stang (hoorah!) so me and the guy in the cobra are just starin at each other having been scared to crap, then he says "Dude, I almost peed on myself"(cleaned up). All I said was "Dude" and shook my head...we both found a spot in on one of the business' parking lot and parked.

I swear my I felt my heart through my arms. Later on we went back out and saw the 2 stangs that got pulled over and laughed...for a second.

Yay, the forums are back up!!!!!

Why the heck don't you have plates on your car? Still haven't gotten them yet? You sure do have ***** to drive around without them, I sure wouldn't. You're lucky you didn't get pulled over, again.
