Radar Detector Mount
Ok guys, you've helped out countless times before so here's another. I just bought a Bel RX65 detector and was wondering if anyone had some ingenious way of mounting this so it looked neat and didn't stick out like a soar thumb with the suction cups in the middle of the windshield. Maybe up in the upper left had corner behind the visor? Custom bracket maybe?
Seems like the way the visors fold, the overhead console and the tint behind the rearview mirror really limit the opportunities.
Anyway Thanks again.

I like stuff on the windshield to be between the rearview mirror, and the top of the windshield, simply because, you dont look through that part of the windshield anyway. Is there anyway that you can mount the radar detector in a less obvious position, say in/on the dash, and have the sensing unit in the nose of the car?

And try to tuck any excess wiring down the apillar, itll be easier to get the wire out of there, if you want to move the detector, than if you cut it to w/e length, and then have to figure something out...yes, I've seen it - duct tape on electical stuff like that
