1. Is the Premier Trim pkg worth it? cant find a pic and wondering if it looks good or not.

2. Along with that, what is "Dove"? is it like really light grey?

3. When you pick the IUP 18G on kbb.com you have to choose between two dash appliques. One is satin the other is charcoal . Is the satin one the standard brushed aluminum looking one that has been around in the 05 and 06 cars and then the charcoal one a new much darker option?

 

The charcoal/dark IUP option came about with Job 2 production run of the Mustang last December. I ordered it but my dealer screwed it up, but to tell you the truth I perfer the normal IUP over the Dark Iup in the black interior.

 

Satin is brushed aluminum looking from 05/06, charcoal is much darker.

 

Dove is grey color.

 

Do we know if the new Black/Red interior color combo is the same as the 06 with the full red seats and door inserts or is it black seats edges with red inserts like the GT500?

 

I bet it is the same as 05-06, bet anything. I guess this question just isn't going to get answered until I get my new GT in the next couple of weeks. There has been tons of conjecture, but I just know Ford isn't going to put seats with colored inserts in a non SE.

 

From what i have heard/ read, the standard gt still has the solid colored seats. The pics of the chamois interior have full tan seats. I think the bright aluminum iup is too much bright in that section of the acr for red interior at least, i got the darker one.

The darker IUP is close to a carbon fiber look, and while I thought I'd like it, I actually prefer the satin silver one that has been available since the '05 came out. I've been looking at GT's at various dealers, and I can't find one with the charcoal IUP. I'm waiting for the dark IUP, similar to the one in the GT500. It is supposed to be available for job 2 of the 07 run.

I have never seen a car with 4 different dash options.

I prefered the dark IUp myself though the satin one is nice as well. Depends on the colour and what not.

 

Not like the GT500. Red seats and door panel inserts like 05/06 , and I think the new colors for the door panel inserts were used in the standard deluxe interiors that had matching door panels and door inserts of the same colors.

 

I like the dark IUP, but wish the color of the vent louvers matched. Has anyone tried replacing them with black vents (such as on the non-IUP version)?

Yeah I looked at a few last night and completely agree.. would look way better if they matched, or were at least black.

 

If I ordered a chamois colored interior on an '07 with the Premier Trim pkg how would this differ from a car w/o it? I'm not clear on what exactly the '07 Premier trim pkg is. Is the Premier trim carpeting always charcoal?
