In California, I believe the emissions related equipment come with C.A.R.B. "approved" numbers. The people who do the "test" are not new to the testing, they perform many tests a day. If you think you can fool them, be my guest. Maybe you will get away with it!

 

I am just glad that I never have to have my vehicle inspected, this sounds like a huge headache.
