I'm new to this forum.

Does anyone know what new options might become available for the 2008 Mustang? It probably is too early to know for sure, but any good educated guesses as to what new options Ford might offer for the '08 Mustang would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm strongly considering buying a new Mustang, but have a premonition (lol) that it'll be worth waiting to order an '08 stang.

My guess is that Ford will offer a new exterior color, perhaps cosmetic changes, new interior bits, and a 428 SCJ w/drag pack option (lol)

 

Hi John,

Better internal lighting for the 2008s. New colors include Sangria Red, Silver Metallic, and Vapor Silver. Also probably will see new stripes colors being offered on the GT/CS. There will be a Mustang Salley edition V6 in pink. Later (next Jan), a new Bullitt will be offered.

That's about all I know, but stayed tuned as more info will come out in Feb and Mar and the 08 order guide will probably appear on here around 13 April.

I too am in a holding pattern to determine if the 08 is worth the wait. Even if I do get a 07, I'm gonna try to time it so that I get in July 07. Ford typically offers nice incentives over the summer in order to clear out the 07s to make room for the 08s.

 

Same boat w/ ya - I wanna see what those colors look like and the if it's worth jumping to the next MY. If not, better deal on on the '07.

 

If Ford offers that 0% for 72 months deal again, it will be hard to pass up!
I was too late last time. They couldn't find me a Mustang GT Premium with the 5 speed manual that I wanted.
