I am always AMAZED that something as complicated as a vehicle with 1000s of parts can be made at all, not to mention that one will sit in my driveway. Talk about organization!!

I like it! Will all the cars comedown the line in that blue primer??

If so, it'd get really boring building them!

Thanks for the pics Brad, glad to see that Ivan didn't give you too much trouble

I think that BLUE primer is a giant sticker, possibly put on to protect the paint. To me it doesn't look like primer.

BTW, awesome job on the pictures.. How did you get them?

I think that blue stuff is a re-usable slip-on type cover to protect the paint while on the line.

Yeah what 05mach1 said.

That's sooo cool. I have never seen a car assembly line before, especially one that cranks out such beauties.

Hey!! I know those guys!!! And thats my area!!! Thank God I didn't shoot those pics!!!! Those are removeable covers and the Mustangs are blue, the mazdas' are black and gray. They cover the fenders, quarters, and doorsills to protect the paint. Did anyone notice the doors? I was amazed also, we didn't remove the doors at my old plant. I guess they do it allover here because everyone else seems to think its normal to have a doorline to build them up on. B)
