I have been having problems getting gas in my GT. I have tried different pumps at different stations but keep having the same problem. Even when the tank is empty the pump keeps clicking off as though it is full. Sometimes the gas even shoots back out and gets on my car :bang: . I have the car in with the dealer today to have them look at it but I was wondering if anyone else has this problem? I have only been able to put about 4 gallons at a time in b/c I get too frustrated standing there at the pump for 15 minutes or so.

There is a TSB (technical service bulletin) on this. They should replace your tank with the updated one.

Paul....I haven't had any problems with my fuel tank/filling at all, and mine was built in late '04. I guess I am confused as to what an 'updated' fuel tank is? Am I just lucky.....because it seems like you are saying that the early fuel tanks were of an inferior design.

Paul, get with the program, you are not a new member and should already know this just kidding. I had the same problem. Tank was replaced in a few hours and everything works great now.
