Everything on my system works great, but there is a little annoying thing though. When a song is over and the next song starts, the transition is not seamless as it should be. It has a slight pause between songs.
Is this an issue that needs to be taken care of, or is it something that we need to live with.

I've noticed it. Don't think anyone else has mentioned it though.

It's just the way it is. Some radios can blend the end of one song to the start of the next, some just have a pause, some are adjustable one way or another, etc.

You can probly get Nero, or another cd writer program to copy the cd without the 2 second gap inbetween tracks and this ought to make the shaker play it without the pause.

If you are using an mp3 disk, there is pretty much no way around that. I've owned a few mp3 capable head units in previous cars and they all did that. If it's a regular audio cd, then it's probably just the time spacing between the songs that were copied to the disk.

People have reported this with CDs as well, especially with songs where there aren't supposed to be delays with tracks. TBH, I haven't used any CDs that have this, so I haven't experience anything yet.

yeah this happens on store bought CD's, I have yet to try a personal burned one yet, but those have the pauses no matter what it's played on.
This is the first CD player I've noticed that on however, which is real pity.

Mine does alright with CD's that have natural pauses between songs, but throw something at it that has tracks that flow into each other and it has fits.

My Queensryche Operation Mindcrime is one that drives it absolutely bat poop.

As far as the instant space between tracks, do a search - there are at least two threads on this. I think the Shaker is pretty alright as a system but this problem is completely inexcusable in this day and age.....

I've had that problem with the first Shaker and it's replacement too, it is a bothersome thing. I haven't noticed the pauses with burned CD's though.
