Angry

I talked to the dealer I ordered my '05 from today and bugged him about prices again. He said he's got prices on the 500, freestyle, etc. but not yet on the stang. Since the job 1 date on the 500 was a couple days ago, I'm assuming that we can see prices on the stang at or just after its job 1 date if Ford is maintaining any kind of consistency. So lets not get are hopes up, because it has been a constant dissapointment for yours truly. This is a very high volume dealer that has a lot of allocation for the new stang, so I trust the source if the question is raised.

I think I've read it in this forum before, but the prices are hinted to be close to current pricing. One of the reps today said, expect the V6 to start under 20K and the GT to start around 24K.

yup

The haldex AWD 500 with load leveling and all the goodies MSRP under 30k is amazing, Dont expect too much of a price increase at all. Even the new F-series is actually cheaper then the old model.

What 's up with keeping the prices away from the general public? The Mustang is in a class of it's own now, no competition at all.

I was thinknig about that. What class is the Mustang in? In the general automotive world, what do they compare the Mustang with? Is there a class call "Mustang" now. If so, the Mustang would get all kinds of award for being The Best in it class.

Sport coupe under 27k. It is always the best seller in class. the class does include cars like celica and eclipse. A 2 door civic or focus is NOT considered a sport coupe, they are compacts. It has to be a vehicle offered in 2 door only, and not have a 4-door version.
