Private party value of 07 GT?

Hey all, I'm considering selling my 07 GT and wanted to guage the going rate. KBB does not have 07 as a choice yet for getting value, so I used 06 and put in my options and milage and got a retail value of $29,XXX!!!

I was shocked by how high it was. This is what I have:

07 Mustang GT 5spd
Sliver with Red Accent, IUP Satin, Premium Trim, spolier delete
5,670 miles

I am going to remove all mods (minor mods)

So what do you think?

That is for retail, which is what a dealer would charge, not private party. You are looking at about $26-$27k for private party. Which is still pretty good.

I would say around $5k under MSRP of approx. $29-$30k. Invoice is $27-$28k and in the SW region there is a $1000 rebate which means a new one would be $26-$27k.

Hope this helps...

Don't sell it too short. 5-speed mustangs are nearly impossible to get from auctions right now and they do get stupid high money. At Manhiem there were about 40 mustangs 05-07 last week and only one or two manuals. Even 05's get in the mid-20's. Dealer selection on new Mustang gt 5-speed coupes is very poor right now too. I was trying to avoid ordering and just buy one from another dealer to have brought in, and in a 300 mile search, I couldn't find anything particularly interesting to sway me from waiting out an order. So don't treat it like its a Mountaineer. Research your local 'competition' before setting a price.

We even took in an 07 convertible auto(which is in high supply at dealers), advertized it at $4000 below MSRP and sold it in 2 days.

Besides the rebate, the dealer where I ordered my car promised a "substantial" discount when I actually purchase the car - although I won't put that money in the bank just yet.

Why are you selling your car so soon?
