Lucky 16 year old,

You can compare the differences between the premium and the deluxe in the order guide which is in the pricing sticky, where you can also find the pricing for both trim packages. And as far as the lighting goes (the MYcolor feature that allows you to change the dash lights), that's the Interior upgrade package which you can get on both. I think the steering wheel is about the same in the two packages, the only difference is the premium packages wraps the nonmetal part in leather.

I would personally recommend placing an order for it, unless you're willing to wait until next summer for 2 reasons.

1) There have been ALOT of orders placed, it's going to be hard to find an unsold mustang on any lot, in my opinion.

2) And if you do find one on a dealer lot, you're going to end up payin close to sticker. Reason for this is, the demand factor that will be influencing dealerships until next summer. If you order now you can probably get pretty close to invoice.

I think what your asking is what about cars on the lots.
Get the order and pricing guide and shop around. See who will give you the best deal. Check the stickies at the top of the forum for this info.

Was that a complete sentence?

I'd be more worried about insurance costs than anything else. Unless mom and dad are paying for that, too.

Just run a search of the site, and you can find answers to most questions you or your parents may have about the '05.

Visit your local Ford dealer.

to order an 05 stang, you got to the chevy dealership and tell them everything you want on it

just go to a ford dealer, or call one, tell them what you want. The racing stripes is a dealer option, not from the factory.

ps. i ordered a V6 with leather and all, it's costin me about $21 before taxes

Do you mean "My Color?" That's close to a $500 option with the IUP, and leather is another $600.

Geez, do you have to pay for ANY of this?

Hey, there's nothing wrong with being spoiled, but just don't go into life expecting things will always be given to you. That's where parents' spoils can sometimes backfire. :notnice:

Be sure to go for the manual, and not the automatic.

Mustangs are just a lot of fun with a 5-speed manual. V6 or V8...

Dr Irven is right....manual is the only way to go for a stang. But if you want manual transmission with your v6 soon, you're out of luck til december

a little over $21k, and if you get an automatic, add another $900. And that's $500 over invoice, on an order. MSRP is about $23k

I hope I am not being to harsh, but I think your parents should spend that money on your education rather than a Mustang.

I have to agree with adrenalin, maybe they should be applying those funds to your education. Also, you can check the pricing of the different arays and of the individual and packaged options in the "PRICE LIST IS OUT" sticky.

Some of the cars that are in stock at the dealership will have those upgrades. However, if you want to go to the dealership and buy a car that day, it will be extremley hard to find one that has only those options. What you should fo is go to the dealership a 2 months before you want to have the car and order exactly what options you want (in this case you want The Interior Upgrade Package, and Leather Seats), what colours you want, and whether you want an automatic transmission, or a manual.

If you decide not to order one, you will have to pay much more to buy an in stock one, because they will be in very high demand. However that may not matter to you.

edit: You may want to type all of your words in full (not like in a text message), otherwise people will get annoyed with you.
