I got it for 500 over invoice. Van Bortel Ford in Rochester sells at $200 under invoice all day long, all cars except the GT, not Mustang GT but the GT.
I don't understand your post. A dealer in your state is selling 200 under and you are paying 500 over. Please advise.

I also got the Van Bortel deal of $200 under invoice with no "plans".
Cook Whitehead Ford in Panama City FL offered me under invoice also.
If you call enough dealerships, eventually, you'll get a good deal.
I probably called or emailed about 30.

I didn't go to the $200 under because the amount they allowed on my trade in was $1,000 less than the $500 over. I know, now it makes cents! Trade difference is what counts.

Speaking about price has anyone been able to bargain a dealer down under MSRP by a significant margine 1000 to 2000 dollars?
I just ordered mine (see sig) for $25,920. The price is 100 over invoice, minus the $400 recent college grad discount. Going for the optioned out deluxe came up a little cheaper than the premium, and still has the same equipment.

On a side note, I ordered this car through a friend in fleet sales. The dealership had a very similar car in stock at their retail store (premium w/concept wheels) but they had a 3k markup and will not deal on in-stock units. Because I have bought 6 vehicles from this gentleman and referred a lot of friends his way, he has returned the favor and given me this price. For almost 3g's I believe I can order and wait 3 months, thank you.

I went with the deluxe also, but only because I wanted cloth seats, so I looked closely at the prices. I thought you saved the other way. Only a few dollars though.
A GT deluxe, no options except Shaker 500 and leather seats has an MSRP of $26,355 (Invoice: $24,364)
A GT Premium, no options has an MSRP of $26,330 (Invoice: $24,354)
