most likely with the delay of opening the order bank, the price list will catch up. The only time you dont have a price list when you order is for pre MY orders. ordering a stang in nov is easy. The 500 bank has been opened for 4 weeks now, and still no price lists. here is what one looks like though:


You use an order guide for optons availability and this to price each option, If it is done right, it will "jive" when you "build" the order in CONCEPTS. Although it does not generate a VIN, it should do a price. Like I said though, there are no prices available for a while with new release models.

 

B) Gave dealer Options I wanted on a GT Thursday evening.
Went out of town and got back today... Had a message left on my phone early Friday afternoon that the order had been placed; provided a confirnation number to track throught the system.... guess that is through CONCEPTS
Told most of the 1st runs will be the V-6 and expect Mid-Sept for GTs, Expect to have firm ETA within 3-4 weeks

 

Timing, is, truly, everything in life....If you can I would hold off until you actually see vehicles at the dealership; then go to the dealer the week after Christmas and DEMAND a discount....or go to another dealer.

 

Woody....hate to break it to you, but you're not goin to have an ETA for 3-4 MONTHS, not weeks, and most else the dealer told you is incorrect as well. The concepts part is correct, 1st runs are not going to be only v-6, it will be both, GTs and V6 can be expected in October, not September. Confirmation number is worthless, you cant track anything until it goes to the order bank, which wont happen until Monday sometime, and then until Ford actually pulls the order, in 2 or 3 weeks. Go back to your dealer and get some questions answered, cuz right now you're dead in the water, and he's got you around his finger. Sorry.
