Power Steering plastic pieces...pics attached

Anyone know what these 2 plastic rings are for? They are just dangling there.

They're on all the cars. Just leftover stuff from going down the assembly line. I cut mine off and threw them away.

These are in place to protect the lines from the manufacture to the assembly line area. Cut them off, and throw them over your shoulder.

+1 on cutting them off and throwing them away.

FYI - They are on the accumulator lines for the AC system, not PS.

exactly why mine are staying on i even kept my old mufflers,, all mods i can reverse on my car...which is away for the winter... one day 15-20 years down the road i will restore her, when gasoline is obsolete lol

My bad for not looking closer. Just saw the long tube and figured that's what it was. Seemed to me, it was in the same location as the power steering on my old 89 mustang. Been to long to remember though.
