Post your MPG Here - Improved Edition
I just finished a 310 mile trip and averaged 26.6 mpg. Thats traveling 60-65 with some stoplights but mostly just cruising. Speed limit was 55 so I was being careful. I get 22-23 mpg country/in-town driving. Most impressive for a 300 HP pony
I drive almost exclusively city, although I take it once or twice on the freeway a week just to open 'er up a bit. I get usually 14 or less, and regular round here is going for $2.50. I wont get too worried until it hits over $5.00.
I knew I'd get poor fuel economy when I bought it. Had I been worried about gas prices I would have kept my Civic, which even it only got 21-22mpg with the kind of driving I do. Although I will miss that 40mpg on the freeway.
It is fun to brag how little you pay for gas every week but much more fun bragging about how bad hiney your car is.

After filling up the tank yesterday for $47.11, I was curious this morning to see what gas mileage I could get out of my 5 speed GT.
So, on the way to work today, I experimented, and drove as lightly as I could, maintaining the speed limit (50 mph) and in 5th gear. I had to slow down for a couple of traffic lights, etc.
I was able to attain 31.5 mpg. Obviously, this is an artificial situation, but now I know that with careful driving and a steady speed, I can get decent mileage from this car, to make up for the times when my foot gets heavy.

21.3 average - that's over the past 1700 miles or so. (800 of it was solid highway). My other driving is mixed, and I've had a really heavy foot lately (with the windows open, it's hard not to manually shift the auto and let the exhaust roar).
On highway only, I get between 23 and 25, depending on speed and hills. In city only, I get about 19 I think.
Edit: that's with almost 6000 miles on the car. Had it since Nov 27, 2004.

Just under 16 MPG here. I drive semi-conservative on the weekdays. Weekends, all bets are off. I’d love to get 17-20 MPG, but the car begs not to be driven lightly.
Also maybe for "MPG here version 3.0 SUPER improved" you might want to make it so it says 14-16, 17-18, etc. Instead of having number double ups.

When I'm ******* it around town, MPG runs in the high 12's low 13's. It will go into 22's on the highway at 65 mph. But, it's tough to maintain that for long in this car.
Ryan, This poll isn't meant to check for enough precision to warrant any different splits.
