Can you tell it was a non-turbo? It sounded pretty good to me - didn't seem stock.

Just some mufflers, you can hear the turbo spool on them when they have it. I had a bunch of friends who had them back when I had my RX7TT way back in the early 90's.

Not to defend that guy's lack of driving skill (and not to agrue with Brainiac ) but at 1:34 you can see the hood buldge indicating it is a turbo model. The N/A hoods were flat. (I know a bit about MR2s too.)

So when you see a KR hood on a Mustang, watch out!

The sarcasm really isn't necessary, and it certainly is not my intention to get in an argument with you about this. But changing hoods on MR2s was not quite as common as it is on Mustangs. It's too subtle, as few people realize the difference. (Also, few NAs were equipped with driving lights in the grille, so he probably would have had to add them as well.) I've been into MR2s for a long time and have never seen a turbo "clone".

It seems you have a problem being challenged about this. And it doesn't matter to me at all. Believe what you want.

Seems to be wet roads in the video.

Wet roads + light car + RWD + Big HP + touchy clutch + inexperienced driver = exactly what you see. (man or woman)

That and the Superformance sticker on the top of the windshield!
