Aerosol plastic spray. Peel it off if you don't like it.

 

Lol it sounds so cheap and stupid but dang it is awesome. It's pretty much temporary spray paint.

 

So you spray it on how do you control the edges? I've heard of people spraying the front to protect from chips and bugs but wouldn't the edges look like crap? I never saw this product used on anything and am curious if it looks OK or not?

 

Tape it off and peel tape before plasti dip dries to get good edges. It dries flat black but they make a glossify thing for it.

 

True. Very carefully and slowly at that.

 

I dig the fully painted cowl, IMO if it were about half its height it would be perfect. The plasti-dip just accentuates the height of the cowl making it seem taller than it is.
