I apologize, this got really long. I'm done rambling from now on . . . but it is MY thread, so I'll do what I want.
Weather is terrible today. 3-4 days ago it was 80 degrees and sunny. Today, it's 40 and raining . . . allllllll day. They are even predicting 4-6 inches of snow by Sunday evening. I tell ya, the world is coming to an end, the crazy weather is just the start!!
I was at the dealer forever. It took some time to finish the paperwork, and the salesman walked me through a bunch of stuff. He really likes to talk. Get him on any subject, and he just talks and talks. Heck of a nice guy though. He made the point again that I got a great deal, and would never be able to get one that cheap again. He also said they have stopped taking orders for 2005's.
My financing changed as well. It was going to be National City, but they charge $150 financing fee, and then $175 if you pay off the loan early. Ford Credit was about 1% higher, but no fees! My monthly payments went up $.79, but I can pay it off anytime. I'm going to end up SAVING $325+ over two years with Ford Credit.
Went out to the service department to look at the car. Walked around to the RF and noticed something. @%&&^#$@% they burned the paint when they buffed it! Noooo . . . wait . . . it's just some left over wax. Then I noticed both rear quarter panels looked like they had not buffed the wax off, or TST got undercoating on it! Nooooo . . . porter (or whoever) came over, cleaned it off, and figured out it was the tire shine. The wet roads washed it off, and right onto the paint. I hate that stuff. When I got home, I noticed the LR looked new, because there was no shine on it. No, the shine crap just washed off . . . again. The rear fenders are almost black from it. Oh, and I opened the hood one last time, and found the oil dip stick pulled several inches out.
I put about 50-60 miles on it today. Tonight, I drove it over to it's "Temporary Corral," wiped it down, and said goodbye until next week end. (I took some of the pictures for somebody who requested a lot of pictures. I figured I would take some from inside, so anybody who doesn't have theirs yet can at least pretend they are sitting in theirs. )

Nice pix, Craig!
Hope you get to enjoy your wheels soon. Glad you got such a good deal too. Way to go! :banana2:
I stopped by my dealership today, still no Legend Lime with my name on it, but they expect it soon...

The neighborhood looks so innocent in those pictures, but the car would not be safe there overnight. Funny how completely out of place that car looks there!

Nice man, I like the blue gauge lights too. Green is a close second. I also found the oil dipstick pulled out after I had driven it to work right after picked it up. I didn't let my dealer wax it though. They only power washed it and cleaned the inside. I was planning on Zainoing the thing all day today but rain ruined those plans.

Congratulations!!! Sonic Blue is the best! Love it, it's pretty much the same as mine, except the Shaker 1000 and upgraded wheels. Excellent taste my friend.
Here's some nanners for ya!
