I was curious why only few owners here choose performance white. I happen to think the 05 looks good in this color as well as sonic blue.

 

white isnt a very common color as i see it. we have an excursion in oxford white. we wanted black but couldnt find one. white gets dirty more easily than black but it does stand out. some people need an actual color for their car like yellow or red or blue. it dont appeal to me but i do love it with blue stripes

 

I love white.. I have a white vert now and am concidering another white one when i buy my 05 in 9 months. I kinda wondered why noone seemed to like the white. Oh well

i think it shows off the mustangs curves 10 times better than black does...and the way it GLOWS when polished

and i think black shows dirt alot easier..white just turns brown/grey hehe

totalled it 4 yrs later with 135k on it

mechanic that did my brakes F'd up my ABS which failed during a simple land change when A hole in front stopped short for no apparent reason causing a spin at 65mph into the concrete wall of the parkway

this u can see the little switch plate i made for the neons/ fogs and stuff hehe which the evil mexicans that live in that neighborhood tried to steal..hence why it out like that..


lol they even tried little by little to get the neons..every night i noticed they were off a little more.. so i finally removed them myself

i have a white 05 mustang i think it stands out more then all the other colors it as the black stripe on the bottom personnely i think this color is the best that is what i think of course everyone as there own color they like .

 

I looked at just about every colour in person before placing my order, and I chose Performance White.

Black and Windveil Blue were close behind, but white is definitely my favorite on the 05! B)

 

I ordered redfire with windveil blue as 2nd choice. However, after seeing pictures the performance white with ICAP would be a very close 2nd. It does stand out and will not be as common as some other colors.

 

the performance white is awesome cuz its not like the oxford white.....the perf white is really sharp and it looks soo much better in person........look up at f0rd's avatar

I agree that few seem to be getting the white, but hey, if you like the white, like me, that just means you'll be all the more unique.

As far as white being a color that's hard to keep clean, I really don't think so. My bro has both a black V6 and a white saleen, and when the black is just a bit dirty boy does it show... the white on the other hand, unless you are looking at it close up, you really can't tell that its filthy (he doesn't do a very good job of keeping his cars clean).

Me personally... unless the SE or cobra really looks nice, i'll be getting a white GT with an aftermarket ducktail, red interior with IUP, and red stripes. oh yeah!!! Now I just need money

 

White was my original choice because the blue racing stripes looked sick on it. Then I was playing around with the stripe painter and I noticed that the Sonic blue with white stripes looks even sicker.

 

I had never considered white until I was at the dealer late one night just staring at the '05's they had. I was standing beside the white one looking at the black one. I could see it out of the corner of my eye and eventually I found myself staring at the white one.
It just reminded me of a '65 Shelby that didn't have the stripes on it yet and it was begging to be striped.
I also LOVE the fact that in all the polls, white is at the bottom. I'm on my 3rd black Mustang and those are everywhere. ESPECIALLY the '99+.
I'm tired of people saying, they think they saw me somewhere and it wasn't me.
When they see a Performance White '05 with blue stripes and black wheels, it WILL be me.

I love white cars, my 05 is my 2nd white mustang gt, I also had 2 red ones. I never considered another color for the 05. white just seems easier to keep clean and looks better to me. just my opinion.

 

"White" was the color of the Lone Ranger's horse so it's allright with me

 

I have a performance white 05 gt. Just got back from driving it in our local Christmas Parade. Fantastic, unbelievable comments from the parade watchers............and not a single negative remark.
