Ok. I had an idea. It might have already been done, but here goes. Most car manufacturers list the available tire sizes with inflation PSI on a sticker placed in the door jamb. They almost always list all available rim and tire sizes regardless of which model level it is. So has anyone read the sticker on the new stang?

I would bet that if both 16" and 17" sizes are listed, and NO 18" size, then 18" wont be offered in 05. But maybe all three sizes are listed. Anyways, it's just an idea, and if someone would look at the sticker i'd appreciate it. I'm going crazy with all these pics and I still have to wait until pricing comes out before I order. Is it September yet?

2 possiblilities:

1. Because it is a test mule, it might only have a "prototype" sticker

2. Maybe the manufacterer's only have to put the 18" wheel info after it is launched into production. Example, if the 18's are going to be on the Job2 launch, the job2 cars will have the sticker, whereas the job 1 don't

In either case, I will get a look at the car in a week and will check

The only thing I want the 18" option is to save me the hassle of buying tires. If its more then $700 I wont bother with it. Most likely it will be MUCH less.

My 2001 GT tire sticker does not list 17" tires on it, so I wouldn't worry about it. We know the 18s are coming. We just don't know exactly when.
