Pellet gun....

I know the A/C clicks loudly every few seconds, and that's apparently normal. But mine doesn't just click, it makes this sorta click/poof sound like a loud pellet gun would sound like. And it's LOUD. I'm just wondering how loud everyone else's is and if you have just a click or something similar to what I have.

TIA

I Have it - Its like chinese water torture. Especially since I normally drive with the window down.
Had it in for service because of it
They didn't find why......I learned to live with it.

I live in Phoenix where we use the air alot. I don't recall hearing any strange sounds from the AC. It works great and I don't hear any obvious loud clicking from mine. Maybe your AC compressor has a problem that your dealer should look at? Good luck.

I think there is a new TSB on A/C compressors, I'll see if I can find it.
