hot air

When my vent controls are off I still get hot air from my vents and if I turn on my vents the hot air cooks you. Anyone else have this and did the dealer fix it? Mitch e

I've noticed the same problem and been wanting to post a thread on it. It is extremely annoying to ride with the windows down and get heat from inside the car instead of out! These engines run extremely hot so I'm guessing it's due to that. I haven't taken it to the dealer since I wanted to get a feel from other members if this is normal, but hopefully Ford has a fix for it soon.

i noticed the same thing on a hot day. i reached down by the gas pedal and i think it was the foot vent and it was very hot. I havent looked to verify what it was but Im pretty sure it was the heat vent.

Havent noticed lately since the weather has been cool. im wondering if running the air conditioner through the foot vents might cool it off.

If I close all the dash vents it seems the heat still comes out the floor. I could understand some warm air but what I feel is pretty hot. I'm in the middle of a move but I'll take it to Ford eventually or just wait for some other issue and 'two birds....'.

there is definitely something very hot at the foot even with the heat off and temp dial set to cold. being a ford im assuming it's "normal".
