Okay. I ordered back on 8/17, and my dealer says that they don't have any information on it other than a "partial serial number." Is that a BS line?
Has anyone else who ordered around when I did get a VIN# or build date yet?
It's been about a month, and since production has been ongoing for almost two weeks now, I figure I should have SOMETHING by now, right?

 

I think the partial SN is available right after order is placed. It just contains body code and stuff like that. I only had a partial until yesterday when I got the full VIN. I ordered on 7/30, so you should be within about 2 weeks of getting scheduled and having a full VIN I would guess.

 

I ordered on 7/26 and do not have a VIN or a build date yet.

 

Partial VIN appears on the Vehicle Order Status Report.

It is the first few characters of your VIN. The first few tie it to the body and engine and package, I think mine is like VT82H or whatever. The rest of it will get filled in when the VIN is assigned.

B) Dude; better ask the dealer for a copy of the DORA.

 

I've seen my DORA and my order on the Order Status sheet.

I placed my order 7/22, I don't have a VIN, and I'm not scheduled.
