OK...here's some nitpicking. I have parchment leather seats and drive my vert to work EVERY day (30 miles each way). I've begun to notice that the driver's seatbelt is staining the leather near the top outer corner of the seat. This is where the seatbelt contacts the leather. It wipes off easily with a damp cloth but...am I going to have to do this for life of the car? Any thoughts?

I hadn't noticed that yet, I'll have to look. I have noticed that the left side of my seat is getting a little darker, presumably form my jeans. I'm going to try to clean it up this weekend (long trip last weekend, and I need to cleanup from it anyway).

What color are the seatbelts? Are they not parchment as well?

I have a similar problem with the parchment leather in my '02 GT, but it's my black Eddie Bauer leather jacket that's rubbing off onto the console armrest, seat, and door panel. I love the parchement color but I think I'm going to go with charcoal leather when I finally give in and order my '06 GT vert.

Parchment pleather here too...been hitting the seats with leather cleaner every 2 or 3 weeks and it takes care of it. Same issue on my last car that had a very light gray leather interior. Might check out a black set of floormats to make my life easier too

I don't have any transfer from the seatbelts that I saw, but the jeans are definitely darkening the seat bottom (especially the left side). I'll have to get some cleaner this week and make sure I hit that once in a while.

I've got the FoMoCo rubber floor mats in right now, which helped this weekend when we were at the beach. Sand cleans up so much easier from them than it would from carpet.

This is the same car we ordered except we got a black top and the
exterior sports package. Looking at your picture, reinforces the
color choices my wife made.

Well , just a thought. But you can buy seat belt pads that roush and others are selling to take care of it I would think. If you place the pad or stitch the pad on in a particular place I am sure that would take care of any rubbing from the belt to the seat. It will cover the seat belt, and should keep them from rubbing. Granted you may have to stitch the pad in place or velcro or something. Good luck , just an idea tho. Seems practical that the shoulder pads should take care of it.

I'm sorry but I just haven't gotten around to doing a proper photo shoot yet, but here are a few more. One of the back seat area with boot on, one of front, and the other of the XM commander head unit. I specifically didn't want the exterior upgrade package...I wanted more of the retro look and the rear spoiler just didn't do it for me. Wish I had the side "Mustang" stripes though.

Originally, I thought I wanted Windveil Blue with the parchment top and interior but my wife convinced me the Mineral Grey looked better (it's a bit more conservative, like me I guess!).

As for the light colored seats, I've owned an Accord for 6 yrs, 100K miles, with beige leather, and wouldn't want any other color for the Mustang. You just have to watch out for abrasive belts or other clothing that could mar the lower seat back.
