did it take you 2+ hours for each side or 2hours total?!? also did you sand and primer them first or just use the blue?
Thanks for the compliment. I roughed them up with some 00 steel wool, washed them with detergent (simple green), and wiped them down with denatured alchohol before applying the blue paint. I did not use a primer. It took about 2 hours for both. I really should have let the covers dry longer, but I didn't want to wait till the next day to finish. Good luck!

Torque values on the cover bolts is 89 INCH lbs.

Great work mate! I had them blue on my old 77 cobra. I love that look. I also thought the Crinkle finish black would look really sharp. They used to use it on 302 covers with and embosed powered by ford (those covers were aftermarket though)
