Anyone have a clue what color Ford actually painted the Bullit style aluminum wheels that came on a the GT in 2008? I know it's a silver, I'm trying to touch up a couple nicks from a tire guy with a rachet. Thanks to anyone that might have an answer.

 

Easy answer is to just find the closest paint pen you can and go with it. Unless you get the paint color matched (due to fade from sun/exposure), then you'll need to just compare until you get it. Or get the wheel refinished by a pro.

 

That was kinda my plan, thought maybe someone would know the actual shade of silver. I don't think these wheels ever spent much time actually on the car, got them as extras when I bought it 2 weeks ago. The one owner had put chrome bullits on it, and the painted ones are like brand new. That is till the wrench turner racheted down a TPMS sensor today and left a couple nicks in the paint. I'm not fond of chrome. The wheels along with about $800+ of chrome accents have been removed. LOL

 

I think I saw a similar question posted a while back and I don't think they ever got a definitive answer . . . so I agree eye-balling it is the practical solution
