I did the same thing...but look at it this way...

When the wheel is spinning...no one can see it...when the wheel is not spinning...no one will notice. Relax...let it go.

I know your pain. I now have curb rash on 3 of the rims. It's what I get for trying to park so close to the curb and protect the doors from dings. I live with it since you have to get right down near them to see the damage with my chrome DD rims anyway. Live and forget!

I've got chrome spinners on my aluminum bullets. They look GREAT! However, do yourself a favor and don't get the plastic spinners from Ford. They fall off easily. I got these from BRS Parts. All metal, connected from behind so people can't steal them.

Also, I did think about possibly getting them restored, but it is probably expensive and like StangRalle said may as well just buy a new rim.

Wow guys, Thanks for all the suggestions. I am still not 100% positive on what I am gona do about it. Like most of you said, its not a huge deal. I am mostly upset about it because it is my first blemish on the car I went out and looked at it the other day and It really isn't noticeable (even though I know it is there)

Shotokan1509, I guess I am better shape then you were, You mut have been pretty upset when that happened. Sorry to these those pics

Oh, yea, those spinners look sweet MD Mustang

No tires, only wheels, but they have only 3 miles on them (what was on the car when it was delivered from Flat Rock). These truely are brand new. I think he was selling them for $600 for the set of 4! Again, don't know where your located at, but for the price of 2 from Ford, you can get a full set. Just a thought.
Thanks, but after shipping (I am in Michigan) It would cost me too much money and I only need one rim... That is a great deal though, if I needed four I'd be writing a check right now. Thanks

Yup I have the same thing too but I'm just going to save for some new rims maybe 20s for the summer and use the 18s with snow tires.

I used quite a few words that are not tv friendly. Even though it looks bad, the tire was pretty sound.. aka that was really only the rim protector but gambling the entire car, my health and everyone elses on the road for a $200 tire, plus the ugliness of that flap.. I drove it straight home and parked it. But, I have the new tire put on.. just sort of have to accept that anytime you take the car out there is the possibility of damage, but it would be worse to leave it sitting in the garage because you were too afraid to scratch it.

Yes the cars are meant to be driven....but I hate when things happen to mine.
I have gotten over that "first" ding, the "first" scratch , "first" something falling off a truck and hitting my car and the hopefully the "only" accident....(got hit in the rear from by a Jeep) but I still freak out when I do something stupid and I am the one at fault!
