Ordered a few more things

Has any one else had the problem you order some things off your wishlist but the list gets bigger.
anyway my signature is getting bigger as well so I guess I will have to link it to my mod list

This is a common problem among car enthusiasts. Set a budget and a total limit before it goes too far. Just consider it's value to you and it's eventual resale value. To each his own.

You cant think about resale, then you wouldnt drive it or tool around with it. Worry about resale when it's a minivan. Enjoy the car. If my car was worth nothing in 5 years I would still have the same smile on my face I do everytime I drive it. The list grows all the time and I get things on a priority basis really and when money allows. The list will never go away for me as long as I own the car because I will never be truly finished.

I decided to play it safe and change my sig line. If the wife ever saw some of the stuff that i bought, I would be in trouble!

I agree, don't worry about resale. I have however, kept all the old ford parts put up in the garage. I had a motorcycle and I modded it. You can never recover what you put in a car or motorcycle.

I had an original idea for my car. Once that was done, I have bought or modded what I could afford with some OT. The wheels and rims were out of the blue. got to mod thoses when the daughter needed new rims and tires for her 94 (wife's idea). Now I am on gears. Probably next some gauges and will start with under the hood glam.

Hey, I tell everyone....It's my bass boat. Leave me alone

Maybe we need a support group.

Hi, my name is Ryland and I overspent on Mods.

I agree totally to keeping your stock stuff to put back on at time of departure. I just sold my Lightning and 96 GT Vert to get this LL Vert. I've sold a couple of grand worth of mods that I had stripped of both vehicles before sales. It sure helps.
It's a hobbie enjoy

Oh yeah....I'm addicted to modding. Luckily I had a vision of what I wanted when I was done and the only items left to install are a handling/suspension kit (i.e. lowering the vehicle a bit and adding strut tower bracing, etc) and a supercharger; I'm in the midst of researching my options for each and once they're done, I'm done.

I can't say I really care about the resale value as I built the car to my taste and plan on keeping her as long as humanly possible!
