optinion on this cars pricing.

i want to see what you guys think about the price whould be on this car.

2009 new leftover gt coupe manual. been sitting on lot for LONG time. pretty local.

color dark candy, charcoal premium, 3.55, glass roof, HID, security, 18inch pollished wheel. sticker is 33535.

here is a link to the sticker if your inerested.

they said they are desperate and willing to take 25500 but that seems way to high for me? am i wrong. i may just wait till the 2011s come out and maybe they will change their tune?

thanks in advance.

Chris

D'oh, sorry. I had completely missed that even after reading the post 3 times over. I suck.

25.5k seems reasonable for a new vehicle to me. I was just looking at a 2008 GT, that had 20k+ miles on it and it was going for 22k. Pretty much the same specs as this. From what I saw when I was looking, 20k-24k is about average.

Best I can recommend is check Kelly Blue Book and various car sale sites (Autotrader.com, Cars.com, etc...) and see where the numbers fall.

yeah i was thinking it should be around 24. so 25.5 seems too much for me. but i may be wrong. didnt know if the 2011s had had any effect on the 05-09s yet.

anyone else?

im thinking of just waiting till at least i drive a 2011. by the looks of it. this car will still be around. it does look good. if i bought it i would keep for a couple years till it was paid off and slap on the big ford racing supercharger

For a new one, with glass roof too, i think around 24-25K is OK.

Hey bud, that is 100% accurate as I too have a 2009 Glass Roof GT Coupe still here. Vista Blue, with all the options and we are offering it for $25,500 plus tax. Its a great deal for someone who wants the last of the previous style S-197s.

I know there are some 2008 -2009 GT500's "new" still out there also... Maybe look for one of them... I would expect that shouldn't be any more money than a 2011 GT would be at this point?

Slap me if I'm wrong Jeff!

Only thing I'd worry about- get a oasis or whatever report, make sure it wasnt damaged. is it at the dealer that ordered it?

Jeff, if I wasnt already beyond car poor...VB stick with a glass roof huh?

Wow. My '05 V6 stickered for that much. I didn't realize they were that desperate to get the old ones off the lots. I wish I had some money layin' around to help 'em out...

Look into what the max milage is for a "new" car. IIRC its pretty low. Maybe 500? Worth a shot. Might be able to change it to used.

Not quite sure what you mean by that, but in my state "new" means untitled.
I have seen them sold with 4000+ miles on them with full factory warranty starting at that point.
