opinion on 420S
Does anybody here driven or own a Saleen Racecraft 420S? I have seen that a dealer has two of them that have been sitting there and wondering if they are worth the money? Most likly they will still be there when I am ready to buy a car.
Appearance wise it is just a GT with a chin spoiler and rear wing. Does anyone know if the graphics on the side are painted or vinyl? I would most likly take them off to make the car more of a sleeper.
I know it comes with a Saleen SC and is good for 420hp. Would I be better off just going with a used 08-09 and throwing a SC on there or is this a good deal from them.
I am still up in the air about the new 5.0 but the 4.6 is a tried and true motor.
What are some of your options?

While I'm not a Saleen delaer (its a separate franchise just like Roush) the Racecraft 420S is their lower end cars that are more performance with little to no visual modifications. They have suspension work done (hence the Racecraft name, as that was the name for the suspension parts Saleen sold). The Saleen blower is a very good blower. I have several friends in my club that have this on their cars and they range from 443 rwhp (HiRoller's car, he's a TMS member) and another friend who is over 460RWHP. If they price the cars at the right number, its worth getting. Plus remember, the supercharger is warrantied (but since Saleen split and such, take that for what its worth, but I hear they are warrantying cars again), whereas if you add a blower after the fact, no warranty, unless its a FRPP Whipple put on before delivery.
