Up here in this province street racing too front page with the accidental death of a young mother who was just walking down the street when one of the cars went out of control and ran her down and left the scene.

Because of this the police with the province made street racing illegal...
anyone caught street racing looses there car and is sold off at auction.

With the thought of loosing the car it seems to have cut down on the street racing.

They tried to do that in Toronto also (city by-law) but it didn't fly in the courts. Most of the idiots street racing didn't own the car (mommy or dad paid for it), thus the by-law got overturned.

Word! I dont see anyone at the track running 11's with roll bars.. So if the other driver has a problem, and crosses over the line into you, your done. Or at a minimum bang up real bad...

The absolute safest place to showoff is on the dyno.. Anytime you put your foot in it anything is possible.. Thats the thrill of racing actually.. Going as fast as possible in 1320ft or on the street, always hoping you will come to a stop eventually.. Sometimes, fate has other plans for you than merely coming to a safe stop.. You never know..

So a salute to all the dyno queens in the world.. The most responsible people in America... LOL!!

So take from it, what is best for you and move on..

You would be very wrong. I am under 25 but most of the people I know that street race are over 30 the oldest one that comes to mind is over 60 and has a son that's my age.

I don't post my racing stories on this forum because it would not be appropriate. This forum is not geared for the street racing crowd at all, so it's completly worthless to post such a thread in this forum. It's also just a worthless to have a giant circle jerk about how dangerous street racing is and how we should all take it to the track. I don't even think the mustang source forum as a whole has a "kill stories" section.

Get off your soap box, there's no audience.

cars are dangerous in general.
so are intersections.
so are interstates.

you don't have to be racing to die.
