Sorry, but please explain to us what it is that makes your car belong in a SEMA booth? There are many nice Stangs so what is special about yours?
Then maybe you will get some votes.....

How the heck do you get D i c k out of the name Richard?

I have never been able to understand how that works. Not even closely. The only thing that is short for Richard is Rich

Richard

I never really understand why people ask this question, as it was asked last year as well. The idea of the contest is to get your car into SEMA and win money to spend to modify your car, and the reason its open to the public to vote is so that YOU vote for the car that YOU deem worthy.

But as for my car, there is a small list on that link of mods to my car and other reasons why it should be worthy, but here it is for you: list of mods (and sorry Ive always been about GO before SHOW, so if that makes my car less worthy than a car with just a body kit than so be it)

K&N Intake, JBA Headers, Custom Muffler Delete, 4.10 Gears, H&R Super Sports, Tune, Steeda Triax Shifter, Front Clear Turn Signals, Custom Front Turn Signal Sequentials, Rear Tail Light Sequentials, Tail Light Bezels, Hood Shocks, Tint, Agent 47 front/upper grill, Agent 47 Mirrors

Also waiting to be installed once I get my car back from being repaired: Agent 47 brake cooling kit and Agent 47 Innerframe

And since my car is in the shop getting repaired, Ive decided to go ahead and finally take the time to do the body: for now it will get a Street Scene Gen I kit (this might be modified in the future), Shelby GT500 ducktail, my hood Im making will go on as soon as I get it back from production, and shaving the door handles.

And probably the best reason: I take such good care of my car, using only Meguiars products on the paint, that they not only keep using it in their catalogs, calendars and on product packages, but the photographer who shot my car right after shooting Barry's Mercedes commented that my paint finish was better than his car. So why shouldnt they use it in their booth since they already like it so much that they use it to endorse their products? Also Barry has a thing for black.

Ive never fully understood this either. I do know that it goes back to the 12-13th centuries where it was just a rhyming nickname for Rick, as well as several others, but D I C K was the one that stuck. It could also go back to the saying "Every, Tom, D I C K, and Harry" which was to use D I C K to refer to literally everyman or men in general, and I think that saying also goes back to the 12th century.

Your cars nice enough, you shouldn't have to ask for votes! Wish I had seen this contest earlier,I'd entered it also. good luck . the top ten cars aren't that nice, but if your luck is like mine, they will pick the rice one.
